Collection 07

Rain Window

Rain on glass, grey outside, and a warm room to stand in. Wet days are usually written off — which is exactly why this set exists, using condensation and streaked panes as the only diffuser.

A wet day is usually written off, which is why this collection exists. Rain on glass does two useful things at once: it scatters the light and it gives the frame a texture that no filter reproduces convincingly.

Four of the five frames were made inside. The last was not, and it is the only one where the pavement appears — a reminder that the rain was still falling on everything else.
